The MAP Guide’s Introductory Training is a two-day workshop that will be held at Southside Montessori and later presented on an educational platform, to enable participants to more effectively organize their studies to complement their work schedules.
What we will cover
The workshop will allow you to connect with trained practitioners and colleagues. Participants will be provided with continuous improvement CQI theory and methodology for working in schools and early childhood centres. Lecture topics and activities focus on:
describing total quality management systems thinking,
self-assessment
core focus areas
standards and practice guidelines to support the developmental needs of schools and services; and
the core components of a total quality program, including the prepared environment, the role of the prepared adult, the curriculum/plan of work and study, the children, the stakeholders, and governance and leadership.
Training outcomes
The course provides a vision of a continuum for working towards educational excellence for the Montessori community with its service to the child. Participants will leave with the key elements of knowing how to support Leadership and to engage colleagues in developing a plan to apply in their unique communities.
